Xinyi is a gender-neutral name of Chinese origin, befitting a contented, sunny soul. Joviality flows from Xinyi's very construct, the name being the euphoric meeting of xīn, meaning "happy," "glad," or "joyous," and yí, meaning "harmony." Xinyi may emerge as an exuberant title from this pleasing union of characters, but its components keep it somewhat grounded.
