The story behind the name
In terms of Greek mythology, the name Ida holds much importance. Mount Ida of Crete is said to be the birthplace of Zeus. It was here that the future king of the Gods was nurtured by nymphs before overthrowing the Titans and bringing in a new generation of the Gods.
